Hypothesis- The cart would move faster when more washer are added.
Objective:how many washers will it take for the cart to reach the rod that is taped the table.
Materials:i meter long string, rod, tape, paper clips, washer, cart, 100g
Data:
1 washer: didnt move at all
2 washer: didnt move at all
3 washer: it move an little bit
4 wasger: move the cart to the rod.
When the washer was double:
8 washer: The acceralation increase greatly
when the washer triple:
washer 12: The cart nearly came over the rod
It took more force to accerate the car greatly
our hypothesis was correct
Yes the force required to accerate the cart is proportional to the rate of acceration as stated in newton's second law
